hey guys, just after some ideas of how to cover the surrounds of my B&M Pro ratchet shifter. the original shifter cover doesnt work as the light up gear indicator leaves a huge gap. this is a pic of what i am refering to, http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/4963/shifteruy1.jpg any help would be much appreciated

Ive seen a picture of some1 who sprayed it all pretty much black except for the B&M handle.. Didnt attract the eye so much until you really focused and noticed Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Make thin filler pieces out of masonite, cover them ina matching vinyl and glue them in or do as above except trim the whole console. It is fairly straightforward!

I've done this, pro ratchet under standard console poking through the slot. Was very fiddly had to make a new box section out of thin steel and weld it into the factory panel the shifter mounts to so that the actual position of the floor is a lot lower.

i did wat some of the other boys have said.. i customised the plate to sit lower so the original plastic bit could fit in nicely... still had to cut the plastic bit a tad so i could select 1st and also so i could move the little red lever Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

if uve got the pro ratchet like above u have to have the side bit cut out to reach the release. if u get the quicksilver or few other designs u can have them poking thru the stock slot.
