ok were do i begin, i was driving on huntingdale road yesterday afternoon adn was t boned by an old corolla. now the issue is, it was his fault he admited to it but he has no insurance and neithier do i. i went and got a quote at 2 panel beaters and was quoted 7,500 and 7,000. now the guy is saying he cant come up with that kind of money. does anyone know what i can do about getting the money i am owed for my car? nehelp would be appreciated thanks.

I'd take him straight to court buts its up to you, imagine u did have insurance it would be a complete write off insurance isnt gonna pay 7.5 for a VL think about it

Hahaha, no offence mate but this proves what I was talking about in the thread I made last week. I could imagine if there is 7k worth of damage the car isnt gonna be the same again. But yeah, only way youre gonna get money outta him is taking him to court, which will also be costly. Got pics of the damage? Is it drivable?

sorry man but your ****ed there probably isnt 7g worth of damage but if you take him to court he will have to pay the money but the **** thing is you might only get 50 bucks a week off him til its paid for invest in a yearly bus ticket sorry to hear brother

m8 the same thing happend to my bros car he whent to court but only got a ruleing that he pay hes own car off and the other guy pay for his car so no one won hope thing go well let us know how you go with it

VLHERO youre a complete ****wit mate...he would have needed Full Comp to cover that! How many people have Full Comp on a VL these days FFS..... Definately take him court or find out where he lives and start taking assets.

yer i would re shell, get him to buy u a cheap straight vl that u can find, and swap all of ur stuff onto it... its the only way u will really get anything since u wernt insured.

this sorta happened to me, except no other car was involved.i had fire and theft but that wouldnt help much as the excesses added up to the value they were gonna pay out.i just had to deal with it and put it down to my own stupidy.and by the way i know it wasnt ur fault, but if u cant afford 3rd party u cant afford the car imo.bad luck mate just gotta deal with it
