nop it drive like there nothing wrong with it its just no balls anymore and no boost with the big leaking sound i looked just then and all hoses and pipeing are on fine

hrmm where is the sound coming from, stand infront of your bay while its running. im gonna say your iac valve exploded and fell off. and you prolly wont notice it missing. its right at the back of the plenum, near the brake booster..

hey mate ive had the same problem with my car. ur looking at 2 different things i can think off. a split silicon hose which u cant even see or ur wastegate flap is stuck open. check those 2 things out. i hope u find the problem mate

i just turned it on it sounds like at the back of the rocker cover i got a rotary or something its sounding ****ed the engs only about 7-8000k old

ah yer i agree, if its internally gated, then the wastegate arm had broken off. far ight on the picture. then there would also prolly be an exhaust leak there aswell. have a look cobber. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

thats the bolt i pick up off the road the exhaust is only a few 100k old tho i have been scrapping it alot im lowerd and its 3inc so if it is the wastegate what is invold to fix it can i just relpace it or do i need a new turbo? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

hahaha yer its cos it a VL T3 the gates is on the dump pipe. that is a dump pipe stud. take it to an exhaust shop, they will fix you up.

so you think thats all it is isnt there about 5-6 studs in the dump pipe anyway so 1 shouldnt really make it not boost up and sound like crap would it? and why would there be oil in the bay its not spraying oil now but why did it if its just a stud? when they made the exhaust the first time they said i had studs already broken off and it neva not boosted and sounded as bad

man how would that stud be able to come out like that without your dump pipe vurtially hanging off

nop like i said thers about 5-6studs in a dump pipe i guess if all of them snaped then i guess youd be ***ed but the likelyhood of that happing is lil

id check it. take a photo for us, the design of the VL t3 has the waste gate flap on the dump. so if that has come loose. then it wont seal there fore making no boost. the oil. what side? perhaps that was just somthing else unrelated, ie blowing your dipstick out? you did just get more power out of it right?

well the dip stick come out 1 side so theres oil there and there oil on the other side near the pod filter and inter cooler pipes and yer i just got a e6x put in so it whent from 139kw to 200

looks like an exhaust manifold stud to me... Your other issues sound like a vacuum leak from the plenum though.

Thats not a dump pipe stud thats a stud from the head on the exhaust side. The photo that ryan put up is not of the standerd T3 as the waste gate is in the dump pipe.

yerit was just referance as to check the flap arm. Quote: Your other issues sound like a vacuum leak from the plenum though. other issues? it drives fine apart from boost. to me sounds like waste gate. get a photo of the engine bay and the turbo dump close up.
