Well, sometime either Wednesday night or during Thursday, some scum has attempted to steal my Berlina Turbo. The thing is I was home all day Thursday and I only found out what happened when I went to take my son to swimming lessons on Thurs afternoon. When I went to get into the car, I noticed the drivers door was half closed. I didn't think too much of it, just thinking i hadnt closed it properly the night before. Got the keys out of my pocket, went to put them in the ignition when I noticed the metal lug coming off the barrel was completely snapped off. I then thought something was up. To cut a long story short, I now cant get my friggin keys in the ignition as the black surround has been rotated and wont let the key into the actual barrel. The funny thing is, even if they did get it started, they wouldn't have gotten far as the clutch is non-functional due to a blown slave cylinder gasket. Now it looks like i'm gonna have to get it towed to my mechanics to get it fixed (it was going in on Tuesday for the clutch anyway). Just another expense I could do without.

'cept its a bit chilly up here in Goulburn, the dew freezes before 8pm! Anyways, I had another fiddle this arvo and managed to get the key back in and ignition on, so thats a major hassle out of my way. I will probably still replace the barrel as the casing is still way out of wack and the key is getting a little worn anyways. They're pretty cheap so why not. Now, to try and work out who the hell wants my car (and have a nice little............. *cough* conversation *cough*.... with them. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

yep, that is true, i count my blessings i came out to find the car still in the driveway actually. Its now given me some motivation to clear out the other half of the garage so i can put my car in there at night next to the missus VS. That and I wont have to worry about the 2 inches of ice on the freekin windscreen in the mornings!
