Not as many forums, they do have alot of clubs that have meet ups and racedays. www.e30racing.com.au (http://www.e30racing.com.au) is what my boss competes in. http://bmwccv.bmwclubs.asn.au - BMW Car Club of Victoria http://www.dtmpower.net/forum/australia - Be your best bet at a BMW forum.

If you can bring your VL down to the track and put your money where ur mouth is. I drive my E30 1985 model 318i to work every day and munch VL's. WRX's, 200's and clubbies day in and out. Have you seen what people on BMW forums do? I have an 1JZGTE in mine with a GT3540 .63 rear, FMIC, GReddy Gears, Sard 800cc's and FPR, 3.5" turbo back, 48mm ProGate, Microtech LT12s, STOCK internals pumping 347rwkw @ 19psi in a car with a total weight of 1150kg. I will be at WSID on Wednesday next week for those who want to come and run next to me... or behind me. And for those who say its a jap motor in a BMW then have a look at this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJr0fxZE50w and this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZY3OK8me2g now talk and lol...

No way that theres more under 30's driving BMW's then over 30's. At the few BMW club meets i have attended it was a flock of over 50-60s year olds, With a few young people who were brain surgeon's. Maybe Majority of BMW e30-e36 drivers are under30's.

Buddy your boss is that age and he attends those meets with similar age people... Just like there are VL meets for the younger generation who get told off by older VL drivers because the dosing etc etc. Try attending other BMW meets... I agree that there is a large amount of older BMW owners and you are right with the E30-E36 thingy. But you dont have to be a brain surgeon to own a BMW... Most people building modyfied cars end up paying more than what some nice BMW's go for.
