No matter, what P platers are always going to be a bigger target than fully liscensed drivers wheather your cars turbo'd or na. But by building a sleeper it will help with unwanted attention from the police, I have only been pulled over once, Just dont do anything stupid and u'll be fine

yeah i am not the type to rip burnouts in a suburbn street what about with the new P-plate laws i no you cant drive turbos but whats the chance of me getting caught like im not one of those people that will just dose & dose till my legs fall off i just really love vlts

my suggestion is dont take you chance with it and just hold off till your old enough and look into fixing rust or paint something like that

if ur gonna make it a sleeper though, go FULL sleeper.. no turbo badge, hubcaps, standard ride height.. etc make the thing look like a bog stock n/a clapper and they'll leave u alone (kinda)

Driving a sleeper is great, i can drive around anywhere anytime and dont have to worry about getting defected. I think a lot comes down to driving style though, If you dont attract attention to yourself then that helps aswell.

on the other side of it though.. driving a fully muzzed up VLT is great too ive got a massive cooler, loud as paint, a dose pipe, gauges on the bonnet, etc, and i havent been pulled over (in the vl) for like 6 months *knock on wood* just dont drive like a wank and u should be okay Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Apparently you can have a factory turbo with the new P laws. I'm sure i've read it somewhere.

just leave your p plates off when cruising ,,,but then you risk the fine but less attention and your not going to get pulled over if you are doing nothing wrong so no p plates =less attention =less hassle
