Hi Just Wondering If Any Of You Have Hade Trouble Fitting 20's On A Vs?
I Have Been Told A Few Diferent Things, 1 That Only 97 Up Vs Will Fit And 2 That Thay Will All Fit, I Have A Brother That Works For Repco And He Looked Them Up For Me And There Is No Diference With The Struts Between 95-2000 And They Are Even The Same As Vt But Have A Different Part Number And I Know They Fit Them
Any Info Would Be Gratefuly Apreciated As I Have Already Ordered A Set And Will Get Them This Week
Also If Anyone Has Pics Of Vs's On 20's Could They Please Post Them Up,cheers Nath

i am getting my 20'z on wednesday and the only way you can get them to fit is if you put 225 tyres on them, otherwise you have to get the gaurds rolled and especially if you have a lot of offset on the wheels. Ill post pics of my vs when i get the wheels and sh|t

Stato pictured is running 235/35/20 at all 4 corners.......... My VL has 225/30/20.
Best option is to get the offsets measured, 235's should fit - 245's I think you'll be struggling

10-06-07, 10:46 GMT+10#12 NASTY1 i've got them off a wh show car on its ass so not sure ,also you seem to have a lot of offset on the front, why do they hang out so far?,cheers
XPNSIV what size tread?
i can also get the strut spring cap moved up 1" will that help with 245's?
also weres the best place to get white walls done if they dont fit coz i

11-06-07, 12:35 GMT+10#18 20z will fit on a VS no modifications, if it has IRS back end, rear guards will need to be rolled if you want to put it on live axel. 245 won't fit without some serious mods, 235 at a stretch, but ur gunna have rubbing issues. I've got 225/35/20 on my vs calais, have no rubbing issues, no nothing on an 8.5in rim. Thats with ultra low kings in the rear and superlow kings in the front, not other suspension mods from standard apart for camber kit. The only issue with 225 wide tyres is the load rating to match your car. Make sure you match because cops are starting to really crack down on it.
As long as u have a VS upwards, 20's should fit on standard gear. VR below they won't fit without different struts.

11-06-07, 17:55 GMT+10#19 yes what USH stated is true about the load rating, make sure you get a 95Y load rating not 90Y !!! Any info on the whitwalls?
