If cars can run 8s with 28 x 9 slicks, then i guess that size would be more than enough.

26 x 9 x 15 (rear) & 26 x 4 x 15 (front) would do the job with no messing around on the car. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

It also does come down to what diff ratio. 4.11 are best suited to 28" tall slicks, while a 3.5-3.7 ratio is suited to 26" tyres.

Maybe you should stick with your XE Falcon before mouthing off... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I think the problem is, mickey thompsons 26x10.5 slicks are not 10.5 inch slicks....they only measure up as a 8.5 inch slick Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Blue vlt is correct, 26-10.0-15 is the most common used tyre for Drag Racing, No gaurd mods are needed, like he said u just need to be careful of ur Rear Seatbelt bolts, Unwind them a bit, and ur gaurds will just need to be Lipped. Mickey Thompson do not make a 26-10.5 the 10.5's are 28-10.5

The 28x10.5 are a "true" 10.5 inch tyre. The width difference is massive 225mm versus around 275mm cheers daren Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yeah I have 8.5 Mickey Thompsons on the back with 4" Sportsman front runners. No need for mods but they wont fit if Ive got lowered springs in...

there seem to be a bit of confusion between mickey t's et drags and et streets. the later ones measure 10 inch wall to wall whter et drags 10 inch measure the actual slick face making it a true 10 inch slick
