Hey Guys,
Any advice on the TPS would be greatly appreciated. My factory loom had (from top to bottom on the TPS) White/Black, Green/Red, Light Green/Something..... the microtech is Blue (+5v),Grey(sig),Brown(gnd).
Tracing the loom out im gathering its :
Blue - > White/Blk
Grey- > Green/Red
Brown - > Light Green / Unknown
I not getting any TPS signal through to my microtech (just sits at 99% with or without tps plugged in). I put a multimeter accross the top 2 terminals on the TPS and i get no reading at all except for the WOT position i get continuity. I get no other continuity accross any other combination of pins in any other positions.
My question is.. is my TPS just a WOT switch, or is it Fkd?
The Engine is from a VL, but it is in an R31 Skyline. The TPS is a Nissan part, black with '293024' written on the plug. On the underside it has JECS Made in Japan with ' A22-626 911' on it. its has a single 3 pin plug from the side.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Yes the VL TPS is just a switch. It can detect idle and WOT....thats it. The microtech obviously needs to see a variable resistor type TPS.
Try sourcing something from the wreckers. I can tell you an R33 RB25 has the type of TPS you are after.....not sure what else is compatible.
