OK, i've just taken a couple of crappy pics with the scoop on the car. It needs to be cut and shut for it to fit, as the bloody VL bonnet slopes so much, i was actually hoping it will be less work. Anyway, i didn't realise how bloody big the ******* is from the driver's seat, can't see over the thing Or my other choice is an Aero mod scoop by Harwood........ Or do what a tuffvl did and use an A9X scoop. I'll have to modify and raise it by a couple of inches to clear the carb...... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I'd go a bonnet cowl... but the one you have pictures is gigantic! Make it smaller and its a winner.

Ive already got a scoop on it, it's hiding under the black one . I can go smaller with the cowl, but i really want to have an air cleaner on, who knows how much **** the carby has sucked in over time. So because of this, i need a cowl 6" high. If i modify an A9X scoop, it will be the same height, but of course wont be as long. Also, i want room for the nitrous plate as well, which will add approx 1/2" or so. Or just go for the harwood. See ive just got a normal hornet scoop like this, but i just don't reckon it suits the look of the VL...... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Go the cowl scoop, it'll look tuff when it's trimmed to fit your bonnet properly. Personally I'm not too fussed on the Harwood. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

if you shorten it an inch or so and then mould it in right it will look a treat, that aero thing looks gay, go the cowl!

Yea i wanna do something different, but ive just dummy fitted it on again and from inside the car all i can see is scoop, i don't know if that might annoy me eventually. I don't mind the look of the cowls on bonnets, but there starting to become to popular these days, every street car HADDAD builds has 1 on it now! My preference is a scoop that is removable and then that requires a lot less moulding and prep work!
