Now that I'm making some progress with the car I thought I'd put up some info.
I dont have any pics of the car when I first got it as I didn't have a camera then, but here are some as it looked before it was trucked off.
Still wanna play with the ride height a little as well..
And this is the color I'm getting done, with silver bumpers and moulds..
This was bought back in 05 as a straight but badly painted Berlina with an RB25/5 speed conversion, FMIC and 3inch turbo back exhaust (all fresh and with receipts!). It had no LSD, the wrong gearing and a clutch that doesn't let it get all its power down. I installed a boost guage (oh, and some pedals ) and had it dynoed at KPM at stock boost where it made 184RWKW.
The plan was to take it off the road for 6 months, paint it and have it back.....
Almost 2 years later and it's finally at the painters....
In the meantime I have been gathering new lights/badges/mouldings/mirrors/wipers, paging alarm, rear adjustable shocks/springs, RX7 front brake and disk rear conversion, heavy duty clutch/5kg flywheel, chromed front struts (pedders inserts and springs) S2 dash, 28 spline LSD, modified ECU, stereo bits etc..
Being that I haven't got the best workspace/tools/handyman skills (or motivation when the car was off the road) and being strapped for time with work, band and dad duties, not much of this has actually made it into the car yet with the exception of the Alarm, rear shocks and dash... and I stripped the moulds and bumpers off it
I figure once it's drivable again I will get bits done as I go and I'll be itching to do so when it comes back looking smooth and shiny I won't be doing a full respray as funds do not permit, so the underbonnet area in particular will have to look a bit sh*t for a while longer
This should be coming back from paint in the next couple of weeks. I'll be getting more pics in the process. I need a new front bar centre and two upper front door moulds to finish the silver bar/mould bits off, so that will be getting done shortly after.
also looking at doing fuel pump so I can hopefully get to 210-220Rwkw on the std turbo (remap and boost) before an injector and turbo upgrade...
Stay tuned...

A guy in Melrose park. Mikes paint and panel, he's a friend of a friend. I'm supplying paint (holden spec Passion red) and he's just doing the shell, no door moulds/bumpers yet. I'll get them done after.
It's gonna be a fairly basic job (no under bonnet/boot..I'll do that later when I'm more cashed up and can do some stuff to the motor at the same time) in (*edit* C.O.B.-not acrylic. Got no idea when it comes to paint lol) with 2 pak clear For about 2-2.5K.
Can't wait to see yours done man. It was pretty shmick as it was. How come you are re-doing it? At Doyles or somewhere else?
Oh, and if anyone knows where I can get a new Berlina badge for the boot let me know. It's the last one I need.

Finally made some progress with my brakes, after searching for caliper bolts (I broke 2) for ages and finally just buying another caliper I finished painting and assembling them, and started dummy-fitting them to the strut. I gotta say that vhr32 makes a good brake conversion kit...everything fits nice, and EVERYTHING you could need is included!
Just need rotors now....

Started restoring my headlights today. Got one done, it came up a treat!
I basically bought a pair of TYC headlights ($99 on ebay) and only used the reflector and a set of new genuine lenses in my old genuine housing. Works great and doesn't rattle around like the TYC ones tend to.
I will post up a tech article in the next week if anyone else is interested.

Still need a couple of upper bar moulds...If ANYONE has any NEW GENUINE upper bar moulds they wanna sell, please let me know.
