Make/Model:Holden VL Series 2 Calais Turbo Year: 1988 Colour: Single tone Imperial Blue Mods: TO4 Hiflow, 600x300 chinese cooler w/ gktech piping, , Turbotech Boost controller. Power: Hasn't been dyno'd Transmission: 5speed. Mf5 and HD clutch Exhaust: Custom 3" turbo back exhaust with "hiflow" cat and turbo muffler Diff: Not sure, 100% single legger at the moment Brakes: Factory turbo Suspension: Superlow springs, kmac adjustable strut tops, whiteline adjustable rear upper trailing arms Wheels: VLC rims and VT internationals. Future Mods: 910 fuel pump, GTR injectors, Nistune w/ z32 afm, Stage 2 or 3 cam, R33 gbox, puck clutch, minispool. Rear venetians Special Thanks: Lockie, All the people that I borrowed parts from while defected, Ebay When I bought this car, it was mostly standard with just a sports exhaust and lowered springs. The car is originally NA, the previous owner dropped in an a8 block and turbo auto. I havent yet checked if the diff is 28spline but im guessing its just an na diff. It ran like a pos, needed a full service, new dizzy and i replaced the leaking injectors. The paint in areas was flaking off due to poor prep work. Had a massive dent in the roof, rusting badly in the boot and front window aswell as the rear wheel arch. Since then all the rust has been deleted, parts of the car resprayed, it's been converted to manual with a few performance upgrades. After cleaning the car up a fair bit its time to start making some reliable power, especially now that AIR (hopefully) will be opening soon. Pics shortly after I bought it Recent pics Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
