Noticed the fair spread with relation to Aussie muscle cars, interesting to note Wheels 'predicting generation-next'. The VK Blue meanie was first with the Walki next in line...with predictions of: 2007 - $70 - $80,000 2012 - $150,000 2017 - $180 - $200,000 !!! Not bad eh?

Not good either if you enjoy driving your Walky on the weekends.Looks like i'll have to hire a security guard/watchdog every time i leave my Walky unattended in public or take my build tags off till i sell it.

I remember when i bought mine a year and a half ago. Unique car sale figures put the vk ahead of the walkie by a couple of grand but the following year saw the walky leap ahead while the vk didnt budge in value. But since the death of peter brock the blue beast had taken off again. I assume they are ahead of walkies again but i havent seen one for sale for ages to compare.

When I was looking for my walky back in 2003 I could have bought a bluey for $18k at Parkside Auto's, who at the time were trying sell walkies for over $30k!

I bought my walkie dec 05. Then i remember early 06 there was a blue vk group a at parkside for sale. It was there for a while and it was asking around $30 grand. This was the car i wanted next and i came close to buying it but work commitments took me away for a few weeks and i decided to give it a miss. Bugger. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
