You need to put it in the hot side of the cooler piping, between the turbo and cooler, and you must put it on an angle/ have a scoop effect coming into the cooler piping, its not 100% essential, but whats recommended. also you may need to weld/ adapt a fitting to the convertor to run the pipe if already doesnt have one. cheers

Anyway thanks alot mate Rick. Can't wait to see what going from 7psi to 15 psi is going to do and 600x300x76mm cooler as well Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

And yeah, my line just comes off about 25cm after the turbo with no "scoop". Works either way in a slightly different way. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

They say roughly a single conveter is good for 180 - 200rwkw.. I'm hoping for around 180rwkw or a little above but i don't think i'll get there knowing my luck Rick. stock turbo? highflow? cam? exhuast? if its stock turbo and cam id say you'd be lucky to push a true 165-170rwkw out of it on 15psi.

Well the turbo is T4 front housing and t3 exhaust so it doesn't spool up to late. Exhuast is a 3" mandrel system with a little resinator.. and i have stock engine.. I'll get some pics up Cheers Rick. Well the cooler has been fitted all up and done ready for tune tommrow and what can i say @!@! The car goes alot better with just fitting the cooler and no tune at all ! Car hooks in now really gets up and goes not as slugish.. Fitting the intercooler wasn't to hard did take a while but i took my time... Here are some random pics.. cut down the length of that gas feed line from the converter to the t/b, its far too long. Get some 90 degree fittings (even plastic ones from a plumbing place) so you can run the gas feed line under the manifold in a more direct fashion. does the barb on the intercooler pipe have a scooped collector, or is it just a tapped fitting in the side? what engine is it?! 4.2L 6 cyl yes? thats a fairly decent sized t4 comp cover too, is it a 0.60? what size wheel? in that case, i dont see why you cant make 200rwkw at 15psi with that turbo then! i think your converter will definately run out of juice. what size cfm is the t/body?

I'll try make the gas line shorter pretty soon. Not sure about what ya mean on the intercooler pipe? Not sure were the barb is ment to be. Yeah the engine is a 4.2L straight six. Comp cover i'm 100% sure but around the 0.60 i guess. I hope the single converter can do okay Not sure on size of throttle body either Thanks alot mate i'll post a dyno sheet tommorow. Rick. i mean the barb for the balance line sorry.. but i guess by the posts in the thread that is what you have done. see if the t/body has a sticker right at the throttle linkage, where the big bolt that holds it together is, there should be a blue sticker and it should say it on there.

Mate the car is spending the night at the shop as the ran out of time for the timming to be set BUT Made 264RWHP on 15psi without timming! Makes 15psi by 2500rpm and stays flat all the way to 5000rpm I'm happy as ! Rick. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Cheers Rick. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
