First off id just like to say this thread is not for discussion of any of the dramas that have occurred on this forum in purchasing my shell, thats entirely seperate, i thought you guys would enjoy seeing the build progress etc, so thats all im prepared to discuss ANYWAY! Body/Paint: I purchased a rolling shell from a member on this forum, finally recieved it, realised it would need alot more work then i had anticipated. Body was in quite good nick (thankfully). Whomever had been involved in the build of the car previously however had as much brains as the chair im currently sitting on... Intercooler piping holes in the engine bay were cut out with an impact drill and a pair of pliers (as disgusting as it sounds) and it was in utterly disgraceful condition... So thats step one... Car as we speak is in the panel shop having the engine bay entirely re panel and painted, smoothed etc etc. The car itself is in PPG red to blue harlequin, shaved locks and gas struts. Motor: Bought a rajab built rb30 - 9sec/400rwkw package from another member of the forum. This deal went down seamlessly, very many thanks to Petros for being entirely honest and easy to deal with I wont go into the spec of the motor but needless to say its been through a no-expense spared build. Ill be running a T04Z, with appropriate fuel system, rajab inlet plenum and rajab cooler, i havent got any photos of the motor as yet but heres one of the cooler all hooked up: Brakes: purchased a set of VY GTS premium anchors, front and rear, as well as cross drilled rotors and a VT hub conversion. Much like these except they say HSV instead of harrop Interior: Ive gone with front and rear seats out of a VX SS. They suit the style of the VL quite well, and although substantially bigger then the standard seats, they fit unobtrusivley... Before the car comes out, ill be retrimming it in leather, you'll have to stay tuned to find out what colour Heres a pic of them in the car as a test fit: Thats all im up to so far... Other plans include VX GTS 19s and alot of detailing and polishing various pieces... ill try and update the thread as we go along and as i do more things... Really appreciate any feedback etc any of you might have!!! josh Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The car had the FR19's on it when Regan owned it. They were his, and when the car sold they werent on it. They were also Regans TTP51 plates, did stand for twin turbo, but they were probably off one of his many tough cars.. The pic at the top im pretty sure is at Gilmour Developments, and that fluro yellow car in the background could well be the old maroon TRY09's. Anyhow. I've got a few pics of this car man if u want me to send em ur way. From wat i know.. it was painted Twice by the original owner as there were issues with the harlequin the first time around. Congrats on the purchase and lets hope it make it to the street this time.. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hey mate, good to see the car is going to hit the streets again. When I had the car I tried all different wheels and decided the FR19's looked best I think you should pop some deep dish FR19'S on it as no other wheel does it justice. I hope it didnt get scratched in its travels I havent seen the car for a couple of years, but it has a VERY expensive paint job and is straight as a arrow. The engine bay was the only floor it had, oh and getting those power windows back in lol. If you have any questions about things that Doug might not of told you, feel free to pm me. Goodluck dude, keep us all posted cheers mate, Regan
