at least i have a vl... that's a start its a 1987??? vl executive, manual 5speed rb30. n/a it looks like like crap, but it goes alright. i bought it for $850 late last year [not too shabby] first car im only on my l's and im only just starting to get into cars, especially vl's. it is pretty much stock, but as you know they go pretty good so its enough for me as it is..... for now the owner before me had the right side crashed into, both the doors have been replaced but there is still dents in the right rear wheel arch. it already has been lowered all round, not sure how much though and there is a decent exhaust system on it too, i think its a 2.5" plus extractors i wouldn't want it any bigger anyway it sounds sweat as is. its sitting on 'vr clubbie' 16" look a likes ? i want new mags, 17" cv8r's i have my eye on them. i have a sony stereo, but i havent fitted it yet as i enjoy the sound of the beast much more the only mods i have done for it is: -lowered all around -larger exhaust and extractors -new air filter -fixed up the cancer spots under front windscreen and under rear. -installed clear tail lights [thinking they would look cool] -bought a walky front bar group a rear bar and side skirts [not on the car yet] future plans include: -larger brake upgrade -blackened tail lights -xf throttle body -17" cvr8 mags -chip and cam package -larger radiator -custom air intake -i want to paint it matt black and lower it some more -calais front end -tinted windows i cant drive a turbo so theres no point even thinking about that here is some pic's, i warned you it looked like crap this is it when i bought it. the front [missing the 'top moulds' below the lights] the back [missing right mould] [i have the center piece now] the rear side the right rear guard heres some pics of the body kit i bought [NOT MY CAR] front rear tell me what you think and maybe help me out with the mods i should get and that. and sorry for the humongous pics and shiitty camera work Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
