indicates fast as if a blown bulb, but all bulbs are fine. then when brake is applied it indicates realy slow, or no at all. and when no indicator is on and you press brakes the indicator glows slightly,, this is the right indicator only, left works perfect, but also right brake light is duller then the left, i know it seems to be a loose earth but i can not find it, so perhaps a plug i havent found? i changed blinker module and checked fuses.. i have no idea what it could be,,ps its a wagon

ok fixed it, for any one in a wagon having light or blinker issues here are some things to check
firstly get a small file or some sand paper, i used the missus finger file
then pull the light cover off and take assembly apart, then take out the internal peice held in by 4 prongs, youll see them
now as you can see the 2 end pins are rusty, file the hell out of them and bend them a bit so they make a good connection, and do the same with the prongs on the plug itself, and walla, fixed my problem,
some how my blinker was blinking through the brake bulb cos it couldnt make a connection through to the actual blinker bulb lol was weird but all sweet now. if some one wants to put this a a tech artical ill write it a little better, or just move it in there.. i dunno.

Good work!!
Once you've cleaned the terminals up, smear a tiny bit of vasoline on them. It's an excellent conductor and it will stop them from corroding in the future.
ok so rather than start a new thread ill revive this one. my right indicator started blinking really fast as they do when a globe blows so i replaced the front right globe and it hasn't fixed the problem, ive tried what EZ has done on the rear indicator just to make sure but it hasn't solved the problem does anyone have any other ideas? i have even put the rear brake light globe in the front fight just to make sure it wasn't the wrong globe.
i haven't had a chance to go to the wreckers to grab another blinker relay thing thats under the dash like FATPSI suggested i have had a look at mine but cant really tell much from just looking at it. if that was knackered wouldn't it cause both to flash fast not just the one side?? could i have possibly replaced the globe with a lesser wattage globe would that cause it to flash quicker? it was fine before the globe blew ever since i replaced it its alot duller and flashes a bit quicker. little things like this drive me crazy.
yeah ive got a feeling ive put the wrong globe in even though i took the old one in and got a matching one but im still pretty sure thats my problem.
