Im just after some info on what people reccomend, I want to lower my girlfriends SS, Im just doing springs I was wanting to know what people have done, what springs, lows, super lows etc. Post pics if you have any, cheers.

the lowest irs style springs ive got pics of them in the back of a vt if that helps

i wouldnt be goin much lower cos the kits on those things stick out a fair way and always come close to hitting most things

Lowered IRS will need a camber kit installled (around $500) to correct the camber created by the lowered suspension unless you want to replace tyres that are getting chewed out from the inside...
And I would be changing the shocks, particularly in the rear otherwise it will ride like shit

springs are the old (as in end of last year) pedders sports ryder springs, apparently they dont make them anymore because of legalities (maybe someone can confirm this) with selling springs that make your car illegally low. i am putting king springs in the front however because these pedders fronts are wayy to low for my liking. the guy i bought them off said the front guard lip was about an inch above the rim.. ive got massive pacemaker 4-1's hanging underneath and i dont wanna bash the crap out of them on everything i drive over.

Thanks fergo, rear looks good, what front king springs are you going to use? Would the pedders be equivilent to king springs low you think? I dont want to go to low as I will be replacing the front bar every other week when she uses it as a grader.

go king spring ultra lows then go to suspension centre if u want lower, i have pics of a guy i know his vy with the same stuff done. shot me a pm if u want some pics.
