Hey all , was wondering if i made a custom dash for my Holden VS clubsport , using autometer gauges , could i remove the original gauge cluster and fit a stainless pannel to to mount the gauges or does the dash cluster have to be in the dash for the car to run?? i normally would have just pulled it out and checked my self but my car is in 100's of pieces at the moment , any info greatly appreciated! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

i have seen a couple of custom dashes in vs so i know it can be done just not sure whether or not there is sum wiring trick or anything to it maybe try the electrical thread on the sc forum as ur bound to get a quick an correct answer
