The VLT ones are better
Not 100%, but i think it's got a lot to do with their design, theyre like a heatsink so they dissipate the heat much better than N/A breaks.
I.E., N/A and Turbo breaks are ~almost the same from cold, but as you use them more, the N/A ones get spongey and don't work as well, and the Turbo ones are more effective for extended periods of use.
Someone correct me if i'm wrong but...
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
Think so, but the pad possitions are a little different I think, I had to swap some parts between the two when I swaped my rotars between my SL to calais turbo so they would wear in the same spot.
thanks man i was thinking of trying that pad change off autospeed.com where they put hz pads in a vlt i just wanted to check they were the same size. cheers
VLT discs are 20mm bigger in diameter but the same thickness.
The calipers are the same design, same bore size but VLT ones have fins on them and longer lugs so it spaces it out further for the bigger disc.
VLT calipers are interchangable with VN/VP V8 (these use VLT discs too) and all VR/VS which use the 289mm disc.
