Has any1 had trouble with Rr trailing arm mounts on the body being cracked (or worse), on VK/VL's when big power is an issue, if so how did you reinforce the area.

not trailing arm but panhard rod brackets, got my panel beater mate to seam weld the brackets rather than just the factory spot welds, he was saying his done 5 or 6 VL's for similar stuff, just get them welded around the edge of the mount should make them stronger

I've seen people box in their rear trailing arms. They are kind of a 'U' shape. If you weld some metal on the open side it'll give it a fair bit more strength. I think you can actually buy boxed in replacement trailing arms from somewhere? but they where like $400 from memory (big rip off!!)

Their only a rip off if you have no need for them, I think my adjustable upper arms at $310 a pair were well worth the money considering I want extra traction and handling.
