Hi, I want to replace the nylon bush on the end of gear lever .I have a new one, do you cut the old off and hammer the new one on?, do you warm it first? don't want to wreck both. tks

we did my brothers not long ago, just ripped the old one off and put a bit of grease on the new bush and just carefully pressed it on, no dramas....

yea exactly what vlthunter said.. if its hard to press on then sit the bush on a hard surface and sit the gearstick on it then tap it in with a rubber mallet on the end of the shifter
