Darren and Angela's r31 skyline ran 10.2 off the foot brake today at heathcote at a huge 140mph. Car has a stock cast bottom end, gt42/45 turbo, full exhaust and runs on pump fuel!! 60ft was 1.68 due to an issue with the transbrake. video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=saU34mSIBIc

No transbrake is whats going on there....no tubs/chassis work and a smallish M/T street style slick......Everyone has different goals I guess Dazzs was to run the car as he drives it on the street......which he did! Car runs Precision cast pistons and stock rods! Awesome result. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

had a big intake leak too from blown gasket or cracked plenum, eboost had to be reset to get back to near 25 psi. first run was only at 19psi when it normaly runs bang on 26psi. was a top effort, and goal of 140mph was reached so the drive over from sa was worth it! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

looks like he tripped the beam a bit early too, with that extra bit of time it would have been a 9 i reckon

Congratulations mate, its always good to hear the development and hard work pays off, and that would have to be one of the fastest passes in Aus on pump fuel and street tyres for an RB30 powered car wouldn't it?? In fact it would have to be one of the fastest street tyred pump fueled passes full stop wouldn't it?? Anyway mate, enjoy the weapon, get the brake working and go back and smash out a 9. Let me know when you want to go 26 head Cheers.......................6BOOST Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
