okay well guys i guess scince everyone else is doing a project thread i may aswell too seein as a have some time on my hands the pics below are in order from when i first got the car right down to how it is now, still in the build, basicly 20 months ago i got the car, 18 months ago i lost my licence in that time it has been flogged out 13 months ago the engine blew and i let it sit, gather spyder webs, held drunken partys with bitches in there in the back yard seein as it had a decent stereo the paint became infected with crows feet also went all oxidised i woke up one morning and went out side and thought i cant belive i let my baby get this way and its time to fix it!!!! so the engine came out pulled apart, a cheap acl rebuild kit was ordered, this was canned soon as it arrived with broken pistons, it was sent back and a set of arias forged pistons were ordered, a fairly heavily ported head was sourced and a wade cam, double valve springs etc was brought, once i realised i had all these parts i looked at the stock rods and thought these were complete crap!, so i searched around for a new set of rods for the engine, i ended up ordering a set of spool rods and then thought i mayaswell put a brand new oil pump in it, so i ordered a gtr oil pump to shoot the oil around, for the bolt ons ive got hold of a custom plenum, and a custom highmount stainless manifold, i had a brand new t04z ready for its return but then sold it to a mate a few days b4 the nats when his turbo blew, im currently holding on to the t3/4 highflow and stock bolt on parts so when im ready for rego and rwc... again they will be put back on and driven with again untill the local police know whats under the bonnet and ive done a few km in it, mainly it has ended there under the bonnet for now, at this point i was very close to getting my licence back so i desided to hurry it up abit and get the ugly paint fixed, so then new bonnet, bumpers, moulds, and front apron were ordered, marrenelo red paint was brought to cover the car execpt for the silvers, as i kept being told, red was boring, so i thought ill add pearl for a twist, over the top is being added a red to blue to pink pearl witha 50/50 mix ontop of 3 coats of fresh marenello red at the moment the engine bay has been sprayed the rest of the car is under preperation for the rest of the paint, also ive been told 10 coats of clear are being applyed to the paint.. so below are some progess pics starting from the day i picked it up, i dont have any of it sitting in 10 feet high grass rotting to death on the pc but ill get them off my phone and post them up asap, ill get more progess pics of the body/engine as more has been completed, then i shall get some final pics to finish the thread off once interiors been fixed up and ive found a good set of wheels i like and its had a good polish and wash The day i brought it home.... Just Fitted the cooler about to put the front bar back on.. After a good wash and polish NOW BELOW ARE AFTER I MOWED THE LAWN TO FIND THE CAR AND GET IT ALL BACK TO ITS OLD SELF.... ALSO TO THE PEOPLE WHO DONT HAVE ANYTHING DECENT TO SAY DONT SAY IT, DONT **** UP MY THREAD, THNX FONZI Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
