I though they made more than 2 of them!?
http://calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?p=74323
says they did 4. I'd rather one of these compared to a walky anyday
http://pascale.customer.netspace.net.au/vl/vlf20.htm
this says 2 for sale, then the other 2 were tests...
Yeah 2 are stamped f20 and 2 are stamped as company test vehicles. That is what I was also lead to believe!
If we are talking about HDT VLT's the rarest would have to be the Turbo Corsa Sport. There was Only 6-7 of them built as well.

Check that site out, a lot of info on HDT cars there. Every HDT build from VC to VL is on there.

There is only 1 genuine Sandown wagon, or at least according to this

Yeah I just looked at that!! 99% sure that the one I saw was NOT a mockup! I actually considered taking a photo but couldn't be bothered!!

haha my bad, i was too busy laughing at the bathtub midget to realise he asked about turbo specific cars
Most expensive VLT would be the most original and rarest there were 4 in total in the F20 range 1 of them was a NON turbo
But the VL Director would be the most expensive NON turbo VL especially the ones with IRS fully optioned
Last time i spoke with the director of the HDT club, he said his director was worth at least 90k and was fully optioned and restored less the car phone/fax. This is the red HDT director with IRS. Truly a great car. Since Brocky has passed, i would say it would fetch at least 150-200k+ at auction in the next 5 years as its one of a kind and the only original in prime condition. Brock himself has driven the car and has photos and signatures to prove etc.
I don't think he will sell it tho, but never know....!
I think the US/Aussie Muscle Car boom will die down in the next 10-20 years as the baby boomer demographic will have passed away and demand would drop for those said vehicles.
