Hey guys im trying to chase down a car that got sold from jspec racing about 3 months ago that wasnt theres.
Its dark blue with graphics down the sides (as seen in display pic).
Anyone with information into where the car is now please reply

Nah bro didnt owe them **** i gave them my car to do a big setup and as they did part by part i paid them ($4800).
Then for the rest of the gear i wanted ($6000) i wanted to pay cheque and they said no by the time i went back there (2 days later) with the cash they told me that i owed a storage fee and it was sold and **** off and take us to court and sort it out.
Sorry to hear man have you seeked more legal advice yet? You cant sell a car when it's still under your name actually you can still get that car back you still own so to speak
hey mate im pretty sure there is a time period from when the car is finished 3 months i think that you have to get the money to them before they can do anything and they have to notify you in writing so you have them f***ed if they didnt do that i would be talking to a lawyer if i was you they cant do that man and yes if its still in your name there f***ed there to they cant sell the car if you dont sign it over to them and if they do they wont be able to put it on the road ?
If J spec sell cars without owners knowing about it i reckon they can do anything in breaking the law very dodgey and karma will bite them very hard one day
u cant sell a car unless u have signed a transfer slip etc, so u can report it stolen or go 2 the police and say this is my car sum1 else has it here is the proof of owner ship go vicroads or something and reposess the car
yeah, report the car stolen. Maybe even go to vic roads, and put a registered interest against the car, no matter who owns it. So that it cant be sold off again. Go see a lawyer, they can not sell car unless a three month period has passed, and they have put ad in paper about disposing of the car because you did not pay. I would sue them in Magistrates court, and dont just go for the price of the car, make them pay damages cos you now dont have a car. And report them to Consumer Affairs too. Dont take a back seat, get back what is yours, NOW. Longer you wait, more likely it is that car will be stripped cos they know you are looking for it. Good luck though.
report it to the police and vic roads, they also have to make every possible effort to notify you of intension to sell the car before they do so I was lead to believe as thats what my my mates work has to do over a **** box that has been left there for 2 years.
As you paid $$$ and made effort to pay more $$$ and they were working on it bit by bit they have no real right to charge you storage unless an agreement was made id assume
soz to hijakt the thread but what ever happend to the cars that were at j-spec didnt the like strip dixies vlt & lots more and then just sell the shop =S if so cant police do somthing about this ?
