K guys, I have been kissed on the di(k by a fairy. A good mate that lives near me spotted it around the corner, parked on the side of the road with the windows down. It seems that a simple thing that i do when leaving the car parked outside has just saved me a substantial amount of heart ache and money. The drivers door lock was poped out and steering column was cut away with something pretty serious, Battery powered die grinder maybe? Without a doubt i now have employed several midget ninjas so watch the car overnight so when these guys (girls?) come back for another crack a the title, all they will recieve is a katrate kick in the pants and a swift kick in the man'gina from me. Have a fantastic easter, Im off to learn the fine art of repairing screwdriver marks in my door and the romoval / replacement of VL Steering columns over a couople of frosty ones. Sean

Sad fact that some crooks destroy something if they can't take it with them. Just curious to know if it was locked up in a garage or parked outside, cause I would have thought that it would have been pretty safe in that sorta area. Then again nothings safe anywhere...

hidden kill switches FTW dude. no chance someone could take my car without re-wiring most of the computer, the multiple kill switches are impossible to find. good work on getting it back - hope it stays in your garage and they don't have another go.

When they leave everything man. and they go for the column. u know they want the car. that was the case the first time mine got done over. They left everything, motec ecu/laptop/guages/money... but they jammed a screwdriver into the ignition and got it to 'on' and crank.. but u would have thought they'd have realised it didnt have power when the interior light didnt come on when they opened the doors. hahah The ****s are dumb as... the only reason they know how to get in and where to cut/break to steal is because half the ****s have probably worked at the wreckers half their lives and they been doin it since they were teenagers. Sean... invest some cash in security man.. new alarm. more sensor lights maybe. as they might come back yeh.
