Hey guys Looking at swapping the engine over in my vn bt1 to a 215i engine and sell my current engine. What i want to know is will my gearbox T5 bolt up either straight or with a modified bellhousing? Are there any major mods to get this engine to fit, i'm guessing not as it's basically the same engine but whether mounts. I think the loom might as the 215 engine runs a few different sensors. I dont really want to stroke the current engine as i dont have the cash to do it at the moment and i can get the 215 engine pretty cheap and i love the amount of torque they put out. Also what would the 5.0 engine fetch now? 218,000kms, i think it has a small cam and chip package. Before some poeple jump in, i won't be putting my other stroker engine in this as i've decided to keep it to put back into the VL for the sale. cheers

loom and ecu everything else is pretty much the same, the only extra sensor they had is the knock sensor which all vs hsv's had, im pretty sure, thats the only difference sensor/loom wise. Transmission will bolt up no worries.
