Anyone heard any more info on when A.I.R is open for racing again?? Got my car going with the RB30det at last, and now want to see what numbers it will do.

what are you talking about? Anzac International Raceway is still open? you may as well assume it wont ever open again. That way you wont be dissapointed, only happy if it 'suddenly' decides to open again. even if it was open, it needs to be rebuilt badly, the right hand lane is ****ed from driving trucks and cranes on it. The timing system needs to be updated. It needs concrete barriers the whole length of the track. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hmm i read something recently about a car show coming up at AIR, including everything but drag racing. Anyone know whats its called and when it is? There was something in the papers about Bob Jane breaking down and crying in court about a month ago, but they hardly mentioned anything about the court case

haha i heard about him breaking down and crying, something about his devorce and all the stress or something. LOL wow a car show at a drag strip, with everything apart from drag racing. yeooow beeewwtay. last time i went to air was when i was like 12, and they had a show and shine / drag.. no one was at the show and shine area. Food and Drag strip only. Without the racing there, its a pretty crappy venue, with the drive out there, just ends up not worth it.

Extreme Powerfest Sat 26th May 11am-9pm burnouts, drifts , powerskids, show n shine , promo girls etc And according to the flyer , no mention of drags.
