hey, ok i have a converted na to turbo engine, with everything changed to turbo. now everything was running fine for about a year, then idling starts to play up, but once revs got up after abit of hesitation if was fine. but a pain in the butt at lights etc... so i replaced all the parts to do with ignition and idle control, but still the same. plugged my na ecu in and, perfect. so thinking vlt ecu was stuffed, i bought new vlt ecu, plugged it in and, still the same, idling crap. so my question is what does the vlt ecu look for that the na ecu doesn't. is it only the knock sensor? thanks

Sounds like it's overfuelling if it runs ok with turbo injectors and a NA computer. Leaking injector maybe?

havent checked plugs, but cars just dies now when cold, cant rev it or chokes and dies. i think air reg is stuffed, but thats only used for cold starts, hence why its hard to start when cold. if injector not working, could this stuff up idle?

Leaking injector maybe? wouldn't it do the same thing with the na ecu thoif it was the injector, or does vlt ecu add more fuel at idle? my car runs rich when on boost with both ecu's, is it safe to boost on na ecu as it is getting stacks of fuel

try your old na ecu and let me know if it works better. with turbo ecu it started doing this idling thing for a week or so, then it stopped for a day, but stuffed up again and still ****. now i am running my na ecu and all good.
