Well i cant seem to be able to get the stall converter/flex plate off of my old block.
so just wondering if anyone has a flex plate assembly for a vlt that they are willing to sell. As gav has a stall i can use.
anyone? and is there anything else i will need, that is behind the flex plate?
how come you carnt get the converter/flex plate off.
unbolt the converter from the flex plate and then you can unbolt the flex plate from the end of the crank.
nothing else is needed behind the flex plate, just make sure the converter is a nice fit with the snout on the end of the crank
i cant get the convertor off because none of my sockets/ring spanners will fit over the 14mm nut between the converter and flex plate, and ive started to round off one of the bolts cos the ring spanner i was using was slipping because of the angle i had to use it on
plus when i try to undo the converter the whole thing spins, and i couldnt be ****ed with it anymore lol.
