hey guys im in a bit of a dilema lol , i have myself a vl calais turbo that i am rebuilding, it is black at the moment, but would like to paint it a colour i have always wanted.. lol i would like to paint it pink, but not sure what pink, and if i should go two tone or not... any opinions, the reason why i want it that colour is , its diffrent from all the reds, white, yelows etc, and there is no other pink cars in my town, no ones brave enough lol , the pink im thinking of is chrysler magenta, it will be 2 pac more than likley, and whole car as motor etc is out of the car, also thinking of puttin some pearl in it too, not sure what colour, any opinions,? anyone got pics of pink vls? thanks

You LOLing makes me think this is not a serious post. Specially when in car it says u have a VN andVR. If your serious just search the forums for pics of VL's pink and pink over silver and see what u like best. Then search the net for car manufactures and find out what pinks there models come out in and have a look at that.

No one with a black VLCT would be serious about painting it pink, surely.

Let him paint it any colour he wants.. its just a colour. as long as the colour doesnt look like crap (eg, Acid Rush from the BA Ford Range) then its all good... Go Barbie Pink, and make sure you get a pink fluffy dash mat to go with it.. and dont forget the Barbie seat covers and fluffy pink steering wheel cover. Put a Pink feather boa on the rear parcel shelf... and your set!

cheers guys, the black vl is a v8 vl calais, i am now selling the kit, motor is gone and so is the box, im putting the vlt gear from my berlina into the black shell, the car used to be maroan, owner before me painted it black with purple pearl, i now am doing it ground up, its totally stripped, my rides bit says vr clubport which is my other project, and my aero which i have sold, and havnt updated yet, the vl will be my daily, check my for sale thread if u dont belive me.. anyhow, the colour im looking at is chrysler magenta, over silver .

definitly thinkin you should go pink coz when they have a go you know you got the power to back it up.... whoa they have a silver car...they gunna get looks from everywhere...same with the dude in the white one...even more looks... seriously guys what happened with this scene...i thought modifying cars was to stand out and be noticed...its harder to stand out when a car is white or black than when it jumps out and slaps you in the face coz its pink... jus coz it isnt your taste who gives a s**t dont reply dont go on and say that you would rather eat horse s**t or somethin like that...whats the point ?? to sound tough?

ITS NOT FACTORY BLACK lol, i have had a orange tinter vs commo, a blood orange vn ss and a purple haze vn wagon, they stood out, i want somthing diffrent the paint on the blak vl isnt that good, so time for a change

love the idea, it will look hot, i think a barbie camper-van pink would be great. there is a pink skyline r33 where i am from and it is certainly a talking pointy of the car scene, even though it doesnt have the go. go for it mate, my friends would say you 'must be very comfortable with your sexuality'

lol nah got cherry black paint for it now and just got brand new genuine calais door moulds and skirts, now just need to finished smoothin all the bumps out of the engine bay and get it all 100% and its ready to paint Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
