Hello all, I am new to this site and am struggling to get the grip of where to find things etc it took 30 mins to work out how to make a new thready Anyway im from Canberra and am looking at buying a fairly straight Vl and then work from there but seeing that im fairly useless with cars besides changing tyres the best thing i can do is crash them into lightpoles etc Just wanted to see whether people thought this car sounds resonable or would i be better going to Sydney to look. sorry there is no photo Details: -December 86 VL SL manual -Repainted Holden Artic Blue -17inch R8 replicas -lowered all round, with adjustable camber in the front -Genie extractors and exhaust -Pod filter -Steering Wheel -CD Stereo -Complete new front brakes setup -No rust in boot -Never had a mechanical problem with this car, very reliable, serviced every 5000km oil and filter - will be missed -6months rego- he is asking $2800 Any imput would be apprciated. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Quik - thanks mate my car mechanic mate went over it, he reckons it is good, fairly straight and good for the money. PLY-BOI - Yeah it's local he lives in Aranda/RedHill and his names Tom. Ok car bought goes fair good, my mate went over it and for the money its the best we had seen. there are a few problems like the indicator stalk is busted and the heater dosen't work and i need to buy a new R8 replica if they still make them cause he buckled a wheel. I will try work out how to get a photo on today or tomorrow

Cheers Ply Boi Thats my car she looks a little bit shinier there but it's still fairly sweet. I need to get a new R8 replica mag, do you know a place? or is it better off to go to Quik fit or something like that. Besides that im stoked with the car, still taking it easy though trying to get used to it.
