I run a DCBHD ( Cushioned version ) and its quite good. the pedal feel isn't too heavy and it has never slipped in the 2 years i've had it with approx 200rwkw. its not too harsh on take off either but starting on steep slopes can be a little bit tricky. Im guessing the solid centre version would be a little bit harsh to drive but would chirp a rushed gear change easily. you will be able to tell us after tomorrow anyway.

had one of these brand new fitted it to car and went on dyno about half an hour later the clutch was smoke my car was only making 390rwhp at the time and clutch was meant to be something like 550-600hp rated pffft. The best clutches are ATS carbon twinplate.Direct clutch services also sell a mad solid centre twin plate. If you arnt making anything more then 250rwkw the one you have should be adequate.....Otherwise man youll be sorry

Just picked up car and first impressions i have is the pedal is softer and needs a couple more revs to take off (maybe 200-300 rpm more). But it definately bites nice and hard exactly what i wanted.I will keep you posted on the cooler air temps with 13 psi wound in to her....

It probably helps that i also have an ASE custom front facing plennum and x/f t/b Quote: Originally Posted by monk had one of these brand new fitted it to car and went on dyno about half an hour later the clutch was smoke my car was only making 390rwhp at the time and clutch was meant to be something like 550-600hp rated pffft. Those twin plate clutches are a pain in the arse for a daily driver and cost the earth.
