Hey guys I see alot of low 10 to high 9 second VLs getting around with Borg Warners in them still but what you don't read is how many axels or centres they do every time they race, Can anyone give me any info on just how tuff they actually are. Cheers

Well you would think that if they broke parts that regularly they would ditch the BW in favour of something stronger.

I think you will find that 95 percent of the vls turbos out there racing are using vl turbo diffs with the exception for a small few.

If its auto, they last for years in a 10 sec car, manuals would be easy to break on a low 12 sec car though, so much harsher on the driveline cheers darren

(Finally had the excuse to put that centre in that I got off you...shame I won't get a chance to drive it till Easter.) It would have been cheaper if I'd thrown a traumatic in it back in the 90's.... What has tended to break has been the pinion gears or bearings. The axles are fine, but then again I only put out 200 ish on a good day....at the moment

And you can buy 31 spline full spools out of the sc mag or minis to now so yeah just to let you know.
