Hi guys, just after a bit of help. I have a stock VLCT (just usual exhaust, boost controller and intercooler. Oh and KEAS tranny) and im looking at getting a bigger turbo to max out my injectors (you know what i mean). My long term goals is only 250rwkw (ha, only) and i will reach that after i upgrade my management and injectors. But for now i want to reach 190-210rwkw for easter nats. my questions are: what turbo should i be looking at? preferably one that has an internal waistgate, and as my long term goals are only 250rwkw i dont need anything that can go way over that. I would like to keep it to a budget. Also give rough prices for what you recommend (new/2nd hand) pritty much what else will i need for the upgrade? If i was to look at something like a to4, obviously ill need a modified exhaust manifold, dump pipes and oil/water lines. but what else will i need? pritty much if you have any advice on what i need or what to look out for i would appreciate it. its pritty much what i am asking Cheers - Laurie Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

the stock t3 turbo on 14 psi will max your injectors the extra boost you can buy at $0 per atmosphere Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

hmmm, then i must have my information incorrect... i thought the turbo was the next bottleneck, not the injectors. this changes things

gt 3040r wud be good. fast spool and can make 300rwkw. u can make 250rwkw with a highflow and then u can keep ur exhaust and stuff the same.

Yep, Highflow would be the way to go. Its all I have, and would like to think I could get 250rwkw with ECU, Injectors, Fuel etc.

stuff the highflow, their days are really becoming over with the better spool and more efficient wheels in the garret gt turbo's your crazy to go with what is now becoming dinasaur technology. get a gt3040r 0.8, best compromise between spool and power on the street. if your on a budget go highflow, but if i had my time over i wouldn't waste my time on them. make the power, but **** spool and crack housings, **** boost control ala internal wastegate. 3040, external gate on standard manifold and you would be all the better for it and still be done on a budget.

i pumped out 235rwkw through my auto on 21 psi with a KKR480 turbo. not even Garrett. 0.63 rear housing etc 17psi actuator .. and my cam timing was a tooth out.. could of gone more... guy said not to run the highflow over 23/24 they have since brought out a new range of products and reasonably priced for brand new gear.. http://www.otomoto.com.au/kkrturbo.htm otherwise id just goto a turbo shop and get them to highflow what u got. but may cost more... as for highflow's being sh!t, these turbos above have been proven to run more that 250rwkw + in a manual no probs.. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
