hi guys
I have a patrol and i'm planning on running it on gas 99% of the time but when up the beach etc i might get stuck and need to use fuel to putt home.
I'm wanting to use blow thru as draw thru have heard bad stories..
Is there a carby that can do this witout leaking under 10 - 12 PSI in blow thru or is straight gas with a Gas Research Throttle body the only way to go.
Any tips or anything would be great as i have no idea to get this turbo installed by or even what i should look at getting.
I live in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast by the way..
Thanks alot
Rick.!!

what model patrol??? GQ? if your looking at a blow through system look for an old style gra carby as the new ones are poor quality. if its injected you can still run duel fuel otherwise you can not if its a petrol carby. you could always get a bbq bottle adapter put in the line in case you run out of gas. just hook up the bbq bottle and of you go

Some guy at Tourqe gas said something like Postive prssure or something over the phone didn't quite understand him ...
I think i'll have to go through Chapmans and get them to fit the turbo and put on the gra throttle body and maybe a new converter.
I think that way is the only way to go that way for reliablity etc..
But some people when i ring them and mention gra they all say nah we do that it's to hard to tune etc ...
Thanks
Rick.

yeah tuning them can be a little tricky depending on the metering rod in the carby. sometimes you have to lathe it down to suit your application. if your running a turbo as well, you will need two convertors so it doesn't lean out under boost
