Im just after some discussion in regards to LPG lockoffs, and what people do to them to get them to flow more gas, ive heard standard lockoffs are only good enough to flow roughly 130rwkw? Now im going a twin b2 setup with and a gas research throttle body, and I want to achieve 300+rwkw, and Im just after ideas on getting the required gas flow to the convertors, and what people have to do get this? regarding tank mods, line size bigger lockoffs etc? Its just becoming a nightmare trying to research all the "little things" that count the most, and Im starting to think ill go petrol as its simply easier. Thanks in advance, John

Thanks in advance, John can u buy oversized lock offs?, my setup runs a T- piece off the tank to twin lines with twin lock offs, i was told that each convertor can support approx 200rwkw i wasn't informed about lock off issues it had to be run this way to be vic roads approved

Cheers for that mate, yeah thats essentially what i plan on doing is t-piece it and run 2 lines but after more research the lockoffs become the bottle neck in the system. if at all possible would you mind PMing me some info on your setup?

Ive just been doing some more research and I have come across the vaccuum operated VFF30 lockoffs from impco, according to their site they state each lock can support 242kw, so that times 2 will be more then adequate. Just wondering if anyone has had any experiance with these and how exactly do they work?

well i dont know anything about them.. but if they're vac operated, and your going to be using them for blow thru application.. i dont know whether it would be a good choice.

After a bit more searching I have come across a small bit of info stating that if using the vff30 lockoff in a blow through setup, the lockoffs can have a boost feed line connected to them to fix this issue?

run 1/2" lines into a t piece for 2 lockoffs at both ends. go and speak to apa and ask them if they can modify your tank with a 1/2" supply fitting too (the fittign with the tap on it that screws into the tank) good luck
