Hey all i decided that building a car from scratch is to time consuming so i have decided to start looking for a copmplete one. Im chasing a s2 vlct prefer manual, must be very clean and looking for one that has some mods i.e fmic, bigger turbo, injectors, rebuild etc etc. Im looking to buy in SA due to the hassles of taking cars through regency. I will have cash (not bank loan) and willing to spend upto about 10-11k for the "right car" I wont pay 10k for a car that needs this, that and the other. Cheers all for looking and hopefully i will be back in a vlct sooner rather than later....

Youre asking for a lot of car for $10k or so....manual SII Calais are rare as in S.A to begin with as you'd know let alone one to be had with good mods for a steal....
To pass an interstate car is only an I.d check at sturt, many have passed cars there without too many dramas including myself.
Look interstate man, you'll get one for that money.

10-11k i reckon is a pretty good price for a s2 with minor mods (chasing round the 220rwkw mark) nuggets is 10k for 280rwkw s2 manual but the body just looks a little .... plain i guess.
Then there is jvl87 which i do like but he is chasing 12k, its auto and he told me it needs tyres, brakes, centre console is cracked (total that up and its like another 1.5-2k then the cost to get it here) not to mention all the vids of it on youtube lol.
im not after a show car but something tidy, would consider auto (would convert anways) and i rang regency today and they told me that if the car was defectable they would defect it

lol if i didnt invite matt he would cry.... im getting 40k in a few days and will be organising 2new cars, a verahnda and deck. So once that is done ill have some ct boys (and gals) round my place for a bbq. Funny thing is though most of you will need to pack a lunch to get to my house (Gawler).
As far as a car goes waiting for jaytee to get back to me about a few things, also waiting to see if erin will sell me her box (r33 box for all you sickos out there) and i havent asked him yet but was gonna see if tyson wanted to swap his interior for jaytee's (if i buy it)
thought bout it but whilst the white one is MEGA clean would rather spend the money on a modded one, and erins daily is nice but....... its erins and doesnt seem right plus its more than i wanna spend.
