Hey guys, I have just installed a 040 fuel pump, now I am doing the wiring, just wondering if I use the two negative wires (this is a wire around another wire) heres a picture to explain myself. and the positive wire from the old fuel pump to switch the relay? Thanks in advance.

Coax has no place in car electricals. An 040 is rated near 15A from memory, so the coax will probably turn into a melted mess. You just need a single heavy guage wire from the battery (fused of course) to the relay, then the same from relay to pump. Earth the pump and relay to the chassis rail or similar.
