After a 3 month break with the car due to trans problems, i bit the bullet and got a KEAS powerglide/transbrake/ converter package Got it running yesterday and had to retune the lot due to upgrading to a 3 bar map sensor, lost 8 rwkw with the glide/conv against a stock converter and skyline trans...but gained 100nm of torque because the converter is more effienct. Still have a bit left in this combo as haven't tried cam timing, have a CDI ignition to fit and water injection system all hooked up and ready to go so will wind another 3 psi in it...should go close to 400rwkw hopefully on pump fuel http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=77760 Theres some pics aswell, had it painted about 4-5mtnths ago wheels etc, 275/45/ 17 Mt/. et street drag radials on the back Use to be full stock looking before, with hubbies etc...to boring Just out of interest typical 3540 cars with the same plenum/ cam setups make around 270-280rwkw on this dyno on 18-19psi cheers darren http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=64517 engine spec are still the same, all we have done is put in 3.45 gears cast pistons and stock rods are still holding up, driven from s.a to vic a few times aswell ...passing is fun Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

No, my wife doesn't like them either, but it doesn't look as good as you would think with s.3 lights, the factory ones have a red tinge on the plastic, look **** against the black, the second reason is i usually just drive at night and the imports are are proper ring of light, how all skylines should be , not a big red blob. Speed o wise there is none, it does 2200rpm at 60km, that's all i need to know, holding the pedal flat for more than 1-2 seconds from 60km results in license loss anyway . But i think that you can use a autometer drive which has a electronic speed drive on it. Trans/converter is crazy, locks up at 3500rpm, but on the footbrake it has no trouble building a heap of boost in 2-3 seconds max, 3 seconds provokes a massive burnout. On the street you hold it at 3500rpm release the footbrake it rolls out 2-3 metres and boost hits, bang 2nd and keeps pulling, any more revs than 3500rpm and it digs a massive trench Ben viscontes white vl styles.Get it right though and it launched the same as my mates wrx. If the car run's 10's,it feels like it would do it on the footbrake aswell The glide is the best thing i have done, awesome, made the car so much more driveable and the powerband feels more elastic, no holes in it anywhere, just pulls like crazy everywhere cheers darren Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
