Hey all, Long time reader, 1st time poster. Figured I should kick it off with readers rides. She's an 87 Berlina, My first car, and my baby. Got her nearly 3 years ago, while I was still on my L's. She was all stock bar an old Alpine CD player (im guessing it was bought when CD players in cars were a novelty, it looked 1980's and it was useless). and a 2x150 Watt Amp. powering a set of Pioneer 6x9's (guessing same era as the Head Unit). this was her then: After a mates ET Pulsar made good friends with a pole (he was fine) a Sony Xplod 12" was run to the amp and the speakers back to the Head'y. A long time and a new job later (students lifestyle isn't mod friendly), I've finally started sinking in some of the money she deserves. Got rid of the hub-caps and sprayed the chasers silver(not particularly well), and got myself a set of JL 6x9's and a new Clarion Head Unit. -also found a nice warehouse to take photo's. Then just reccently she got FE2 Springs: Even more recently I scorred a set of Calais wheels off my cuz. I think they'd been sitting in the sun for 10 years, but with a professional polish they came up looking a treat: And there she is. She's not the greatest VL, but shes mine and I love her. I let the GF know from day 1 that she'd have to share me with the car. I've always had big plans for her; and its nice after 3 years to finally be realizing them. Mods: Fe2 Springs, Calais rims, Clarion Head/JL rears/Alpine fronts/Xplod Sub. Near Future mods (next few weeks): Sports Shocks, JL amp, New bumper, Calais door panels and trimming. Future mods (early next year): Paint job, interior re-trimmed. On the Cards: Turbo mate! If my Cousin gets his way: Injected 5L. Comments please! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hey great work, nice cruising with ya a few weeks back, gotta get my arse into gear and get some pics up of mine, i painted the chasers aswell the other day not too bad, turbo the way to go!! cheers Dan.

Well here's the 'almost' finished audio setup. Unfortunately I learnt a valuble lesson in combining decent audio equiptment with sub-standard amps. As it sits now, the cheapo audioline (at least I didn't pay for it) is blown and the sub sits idle... Its just for looks at the moment (until I can be stuffed gettin it all back out.... to darn hot). Not finished yet, still gotta conceal some wiring which I still havent found time to do. Also need to cut some carpet to cover the spare wheel. In the future I wouldn't mind relocating the battery to the boot... thats a while off tho. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Cheers Bewsh Yeah, a new colour is on the cards, she's not staying brown forever. I was wanting to do it Black (over Silver Calais Side Panels) but it seems everyone wants to do a black one at the moment. But before any of that I want to get the Driveline done for a turbo... ... And on that convenient segue: Manual conversion with R33 Box is in. Excedy Heavy Duty Clutch is giving me all kinds of grief (its going to take some getting used to) but im loving it. At this stage I only have the one dodgy phone photo taken at night. I'll hopefully snap a better quality shot over the weekend. Yes its in reverse. It doesnt natuarally sit that way. wan't to do a few little things over the next few weeks while I get used to the clutch. But after that I'll be in the market for a new Disc-rear with an LSD. Then its either time for a Turbo or a Respray. Im still not sure yet, either way I hope to have them both done by early next year (in time for summer).
