hey guys and girls i was wondering if u got any points on l's got a speeding fine 5 ks over the limt 1 point 140 bucks

don't think so, ur parents or whoeva u were driving with may have to cop the point mate, but i could b wrong

You actually do get the point and it is carried over to when u get ur p's so u will only have 4 left when u get ur p's if u don't get another fine before then. It used to be that ur parents copped it but now u do!

yeah its a fine in Vic.. Zero tolerance, from memory 2-3k over is the allowance for speedo variation, then fines occur for anything over that. When I was learning, my mum would start screaming and whinging if I went anywhere near the speed limit, SLOW DOWN!!!! When your in your own car you can drive as fast as you want! Bought a 10 second vl didnt I, and went as fast as I wanted hahaha haha the good ole days. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

My old lady wouldnt even get in the car with me, so i always drove with my old man, and he used to make me sit 5k under the speed limit, use two hands on the wheel and yeh i never copped nothin.. Be carefull dude, if you lose 4 points when and if you GET your p`s you have 12 months to behave yourself otherwise say bye bye to your licence for 6 months OR have 1 point only for another year. 1sikvlc, as everyone says.....you shouldnt be speeding when your on your L's. Im still on my L's and ive reciently been able to get my old lady to drive with me. I know if im a few k's over because my old man tells me. Its not a joke, just make sure your looking at ur speedo man and you will be fine.

i wasnt speeding my mate was wit me i think it could be the speedo out coz the cars got 17s if so i no now to keep under 10ks to make sure

It's not so much a bad thing that you were (if you were what you say) 5km's an hour over. Any more on your L's is pushing it. But remember this mate when you go for your license you'll want to have developed perfect driving habits. Speeding, 1 hand on the wheel etc are bad habits to catch on your L's mate.
