hahaha i knew ppl would ask that, nar the alpine touch screen is for DVD's, xbox ect and the kenwood i use it coz it pic's up normal T.V, so when i go driving at night i can watch the AFL games and shiiiit, lol...
nar really its due to it doesnt play cd's or anything its just a monitor, i use to have just a alpine head unit where the IVA is and it was all custom so rather than parting with it i just left it all there and yeh i got 2.... silly really i dnt even use the kenwood but its great for footy/cricket scores while driving.

10-12-06, 10:03 GMT+10#14 Heres what i could come up with in my spare time.
Head Unit: Kenwood 25th Aniversary XXV-01D.
Front Speakers: 6 1/2" Kenwood KFC-X1700 220 Watts ,2 ways.
Rear Speakers : 6x9" Kenwood KFC-M6940ie 400w, 4 ways.
Sub: Kenwood 12" KFC-XW1202DVC 1200w.
Speaker Amp: Response 4x100WRMS Full Range
Sub Amp: Response 800WRMS D Class
Then theres the kenwood speaker set-up in the boot. If i could remember the model number id share but its slipped my mind. Basicly it matches everything running in the car for volume and clarity. But is wired to only run while the boot is open.(I was really bored)
Running a second battery and a cut off to the first while the engien is off so the stereo can run for hours without affecting the driving battery. Also a must is the 1 FARAD capacitor. Top quality RCA's and wiering.
System also runs directly off my IPOD so no need to have messy cds all over the place.
Now to stop them boot rattels!
