hay guys got epa'd n canared in some crack down they had a couplke of months ago in melb.got all back to standard except for cooler and got rid of the canary but it failed the epa for having airflow metre on pressuried side of turbo which is no probs to fix. the problem is i have had all the running gear (eg. engine, mx7 box, computer n rear axle) out of a orriginal vl tubo put into a clean as 88 exec. although its seems that i missed some thing, apparently the N/A vl has a 3 hose carbon canister where as the vl turbo has a 4 hose carbon canister, with the extra hose running to the piping from the airbox. is this the case? as i have done a lot of searching in the last month and cannot find any information on this, and much less cannot find one anywhere, anyhelp would be greatly appreciated. thx

Your'e correct....the VLT charcoal cannister has 4 ports, one of which runs to the rubber inlet piping before the turbo. You will also require a factory 'surge tank' for epa inspection.

Is the 4th point on the bottom of the canister?

http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showth...light=charcoal (http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=94123&highlight=charcoal) Theres a pic in the thread. Notice the two top setions on the cannsiter (with the silver bits), the n/a only has one of those. Two ports are on the left, one port in the middle and another on the right.
