I had a chat to a guy getting one installed on his XR6T ute. He was told he could get 250rwkw out of it. How true this is i don't know. Aparently they come with a dummy plug so if you remove the interceptor (e.g. when taking to a dealer for a service while still under warranty), the stock ECU works as normal and the dealer has no idea you've had an intercepter plugged in.

Its all in the tune
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
On modern more sophisticated engine managements systems yes, but on your average modified vl, everything is usually that far from standard its alot to ask from an interceptor and since the standard ecu doesn't drive many ancillaries its easy to do away with.
Forget the piggyback on the vl ecu, get a full standalone unit, alot less dramas and it will drive as good as an interceptor will without the drama or limitation associated with a piggyback on this vehicle.
RB30-Power is spot on. Absolutely no need for an intercepter ecu in a vl when it has nothing or very little to control other than the engine. Only on a more modern car where ecu is taking to numerous electronic modules for security, dash, stability, crusie control, etc, etc is an interceptor a good idea.
