hey all got my stereo couple months ago fitted the all except the h/u and i just done the front door speakers the same time i put the central locking in any way. my amp is just sitting there on that little raised part in my boot its not bolted or screwed down yet because im afraid the screw might go right into the fuel tank but i have been driving around like a mad man and it hasnt even moved the slightest little bit yet. anyone know how far the screws can go in before they hit the fuel tank and do i have to screw it down like legal wise????? plz help. cheers paul

Do you mean the bit up near the back seat ?? Between the wheel arches ?? If you do have your amp there, you can screw it in without a worry up there, but in the middle of your boot the fuel tank is very close so yeah dont do it there, you can still bolt it there, take the tank and put bolts from underneath Even better i reccomend a floating floor

silicon it down if you absolutly need to you can always cut the heads off some screws and eproxy them on to make it look like its bolted down.

Just bolt it with screws up on that platform bit as you said... No worries about fuel tank there... Just use 1 1/2 inch screws
