Everytime it rains alot, water is getting into the electricals and the external pump wont turn on, only internal, the computer seems dry inside, Has any 1 else had this problem , is there smewhere else the water might be getting into to affect the fuel system? I had to leave my car out tonight cause it was raining. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

got no rust around widscreen at all, checked it when i replaced it, plus i put resin across the whole bottom section, then anti corrosion paint, primer etc. Played with plugs on pump doesnt do anything, eventually it will start drying out and you can hear the relay and pump start to click on and off intermittently until it just stays on and I can drive again. Pi**s me of!

Is you're boot leaking??

If the int pump is working the the ext pump is not it can only be the pump at fault

Im gonna get a new pump i think, the revs go up when you squeeze the return line, so does this mean the pump is getting tired? regulator seems ok but mite change that too...

found a rust hole under the windscreen, guy who put the windscreen in didnt seal it properly so water has been sitting under the black strip in the channel rusting a friggen hole through it! I think it might be the problem cause it leaked into the cabin, will fix tomorrow and see.... thx all.
