is it better to go on GAS? i don't like it, for 1 you lose around 10% i think and if a car was designed to go on Petrol it should stay on Petrol Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

iv finaly fixed my car so i can run lpg and petrol ( afm was shot so petrol wldnt work) and yes i can say you loose acceleration and top end power on lpg but who cares when at last glance ( 30 min ago) petrol was $1.12 and gas was 52.5 cents a litre. for performance applications petrol is the easy winner but if your just crusin go gas

lol nothing wrong with going gas. like epitaph said VLMuzza's car is quite the machine. from memory it was built like 4 years ago? and pulls sick numbers everytime it hits the track with a minor setup. whats wrong with going gas? i like the fact u can pay 54 cents a litre rather then $1.20 :P

Oh, he spent sh1tloads on it, Lots of time spent in development.........It can be done a lot cheaper now by the looks of a few people who have posted in other threads in this section

I have a kingswood 202 on straight gas rebuilt for gas and i get about 350-400 k. i cant run it right down as id be stuck on the side of the road, and for a big car its great no power loss and its cheap.

Well I'm getting my VC put on straight gas tomorrow. I'll dyno it before and after and let you know what the numbers are. The important numbers have already been mentioned though - at the moment I have to use Optimax so that's about $1.30 a litre, and LPG is only $0.50.

thanks for that Jimma, it might be good to know what the numbers will be if you can get some pics in, of the computer screen cheers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

OK just picked it up this arvo, was VERY happy with the job. It did lose a bit of power - the "after" dyno was about 105rwkw, and before it was about 120rwkw. Car runs at the same temperature, and so far seems to be getting about the same mileage. Couldn't be happier. Straight gas rocks.

i made more power on straight gas than i did with my crappy old rochester

yeah if you get sequential injection and its tuned properly with all the technology they have this day your not going to loose any power if you go straight gas. LPGAS1 say you will probably see a gain. just curious... does VLMuzza run a big intercooler or a normal size one. i'm thinking you might want thew air flow cooler but to an extent because gas is harder to ignite and warm air helps burn faster... just a thought

VLMuzza runs a garret coolr with rajab cores i think

To get a quick gas car, u dont need to spend much money on it! just need to take it to someone who actually knows how to build a GAS Turbo car Thats the problem, not many ppl do! Heaps of ppl try, heaps of ppl fail. There are some good GAS Turbo people out there. Just gotta find em! Wont cost you any more to get a 10sec GAS vl compaired to a 10sec Petrol VL. Difference is, ull be running 10z with FULL street tune, exhaust and pump fuel compaired to C16 no pipes etc I spend a lot on my car, but look at it. The car owes me around 60K doesnt mean thats how much its gonna cost to build a 10sec gas car. My car has a lot of other things u dont need to fo that fast. EG interior etc. Thats true, my setup is fairly small! BABY cam, no head work etc, no rods. There is a LOT more then can be done we havent even come CLOSE to the full potential of LPG Wait till the new setup is done eventually, then we will what GAS gan really do Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
