Over time, after having read through copious amounts of threads and posts,it has become aware to me that there is a general misconception throughout numerous members of the ct family, that the words "Brought" and "Bought" have the same meaning and are interchangeable, but they're NOT! So for future reference to all the members that take part in this tragic demise and mutilation of the fundamentals of English literature, the following definitions have been assigned to the correct corresponding words, so that this misconception shall be no more! Brought (verb): past tense of bring. I brought a carton of beer with me to the party Bought (verb): past tense of buy. Purchased. I bought a carton of beer, and drank it all before going to the party As you may have inferred from this post,i am absolutely pissed off my nut, and bored ****less!

..... and anyone who says "your" when they actually mean "you are" needs to be shot repeatedly, then dismembered. example: you are a c0ckface (correct!) example: you're a c0ckface (correct!) example: your a c0ckface (incorrect!) edit: i propose this thread be made sticky to assist our more retarded members in their never-ending quest to type legible posts.

Hell yeah!! It's about time someone said that! Another common one I see is when people merge the words "a" and "lot" into one word-pisses me right off! BTW I and not bored, however I am halfway through a can of Jack!

and what about the superfluous word 'like' used with annoying frequency by 8/10 teenage girls in conversation. amazingly it also creeps into typed conversation even though it means nothing in the context it's used in and has to be typed eg " let's meet at like 3pm"

Haha you guys are harsh! Personally it ****s me no end when someone starts writing in short hand, and for some dumb reason need to add a 'z' on to every third word. Example, Hey broz my carz notz goinz cuz itz geten sum sik flutterz put in it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Found a better example:. Quote: i have 2 ask leh whats da loudist cooler for a vl turbo cause i got 1 and dnt know which cooler 2 put on

You missed the most obvious one! "bout" instead of saying about they drop the A which piss's me off! its just 1 damn letter! example: I was bout to bust one in my jocks over that dose bro English: I was about to poo my pants over that high pitched noise!

The only thing that annoys me is when people type these words: Sik - Sick.... One more letter is just to hard to type. Fink - Think... "I'm still in pre-school talk." Cuz - Because or even just cause'

'Lose' and 'loose'; another troublesome pair of words for many of the intellectually challenged. Do you think we should start issuing tickets and fines? Maybe we need spelling police! "Sorry mate, bad punctuation... that'll be $40 and three calaisturbo demerits,"
